About Doha’s Expertise

Doha became a certified liberatory coach because she believes that for people of the global majority, navigating capitalism, patriarchy and all the interlocking systems that oppress us requires more support than what currently exists.

Doha believes that coaching allows us to come home to ourselves. When we lead with who we truly are, the world heals.

Hailing from Khartoum, Sudan and raised in Greensboro, NC, Doha is a powerhouse community organizer, strategist, public health and environmental advocate whose work boldly bridges cultures, sectors, and movements.

As co-founder of Muslim Women For, she has built one of North Carolina's most vital organizations leading civic and immigrant rights initiatives for Muslim women — work that is as groundbreaking as it is necessary. As an Ignite the South alum, Doha has sharpened her skills at the highest levels of civic and political training.
